Youth Classes
We currently offer a Kids’ Class using the exact same techniques as the Adult Classes… we just have a tad more fun doing it!
The Teen Classes are focused on acting for the camera just like the adult classes and meet on Fridays from 4:15 - 5:45 pm. We put a stronger emphasis on developing emotional authority and quieting that fear of making a mistake through scene work and improv games. Students will be paired with fellow classmates for scenes and are encouraged to write and pick their own scenes to do in class.
The Kids’ class is open to actors between the ages of 8-12 and is an ongoing class that meets Thursdays from 4:15-5:45 PM. We introduce the Kids’ class to the basics of acting for the camera and really focus on the fun and magic of acting. With plenty of improv games and creative writing exercises we create an environment of creativity and trying something new. Students will be paired for scene work with fellow class members or with selected studio members from our adult classes.
Although these classes are labeled as a “Kids’/Teen Class”, each student is required and expected to take responsibility for their craft & respect the craft of their classmates.
